IT WAS MANY YEARS AGO THAT I FELL IN LOVE with this house. If fact it was 2 long years after first seeing her that we actually were able to call her our home. But those two years taught me a lot. It taught me about patience. It taught me about gentle perseverance. It taught me about believing in the voice that comes from deep within your heart, and it taught me the powerful confirmation that surfaces when you have enough faith to be willing to let something go.
So even though I have learned much over the 30 years while calling her our home, it was the 2 years of her not being ours that taught me the most.
