OUR FOSTER MOMMA HARRIET & 7 PUPS were scheduled for transport so it was time to get them back to the Southern Pines Animal Shelter. This was our first time at being foster parents and though it was a tougher task returning them then I thought, we would do it again. Their little bodies overflowing with BIG LOVE and over the top appreciation and forgiveness was mind boggling.....and we are far better just by the experience. And though my friend Ellen's comforting words that " it is alright to be a Foster Failure" rang through my head as i was bawling my eyes out, We will once again Foster because it was so worth it.
