Returning Home

WHEN WE MOVED INTO THE HENINGTON HOUSE we had one 18 month old little boy, one dog, one cat, very little furniture and a WHOLE LOT of BIG DREAMS. The home had stayed vacant between 1979 and 1989 with nothing visible left from the Henington Family with the exception of an overstuffed rocker and ledgers and mason Jars left in the attic. However we were Blessed not only by gettting to know one of the Henington Daughters, Madie Henington Johnson, but by having the opportunity to purchase her brick home behind us, and the items the family chose not to keep. So not only over the past 29 years have we filled this Sweet ole Girl with items of and from our own Family and friends but been given the privilege to "return home" many items that began here and became a part of the  daily Life at the Henington House.
